Metasystems, Ltd. (“Metasystems,” “we,” “us”) operates the Metasystems trial-advocacy service. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your case content to train models.

Where your data lives

Case data is stored owner-scoped in Amazon DynamoDB (one partition per user or organization) and generated documents are stored in Amazon S3 with server-side encryption. See our Data Policy for the full list of sub-processors and how information flows to each.

Retention

We retain case content for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may delete cases at any time; deleted content is removed from active systems and purged from backups on our routine backup cycle. Enterprise plans may set custom retention.

Your choices and rights

You may access, export, correct, or delete your case content from within the product, and you may request account deletion by emailing privacy@[[DOMAIN]].

Illinois residents

We handle personal information consistent with the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (815 ILCS 530), including its data-security and breach-notification requirements. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected Illinois residents as required by law.

Children

The service is for legal professionals and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions: privacy@[[DOMAIN]], or Metasystems, Ltd., [[MAILING ADDRESS]].
