How does the 14-day trial work?
When you sign up via the connector, you start on the Solo Litigator plan for 14 days. No credit card. On day 15 you revert to Free unless you've upgraded. You can pick up where you left off — your cases stay.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from the Stripe customer portal. Prorated charges or credits land on your next invoice.
What counts as a "seat" on Trial Team?
One Clerk identity. Seats are activated when an authorized user first signs in. Inactive seats don't bill — you only pay for who's actually using it.
Is my case data private?
Yes. Cases are owner-scoped in DynamoDB (one partition per Clerk user/org). Generated documents live in S3 with server-side encryption. Enterprise plans add a Data Processing Agreement and (where applicable) a BAA.
What if I just want to try it without paying?
The Free tier lasts forever and covers everything except document generation, validation, edits, and the deeper walkthroughs. Plenty to evaluate whether the methodology fits how you work.
